Spring 2026 Anime Season: Sequels Assemble!

Spring has begun and it comes with a new wave of anime to look forward to! We have the return of some big names in the anime world, as well as some brand new anime to add to your evergrowing "To Watch list."

Starting with the Fourth Season of That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime. With Tempest setting out to prove humans and monsters can live together peacefully with the Monster-and-Man Cooperative Alliance. However, there are still those who advocate for protecting humanity through the demise of monsters that prepare to clash with Rimuru.

This new season promises another wide reaching arc with another Demon Lord working towards his goals, and whispers of a single “Hero” beginning to awaken.

Another returning anime to look forward to is the Fourth Season of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World. After barely winning the brutal battle in Pristella, Subaru and company have paid a high price. Endless sleep, missing memories, and the loss of a name.

Searching for a solution, Subaru sets his sights on the Sage Shaula and the Pleiades Watchtower. Together, they set off for the Augria Sand Dunes where all manner of unknown threats reside, and dangers so great even the legendary Reinhard could not conquer it.

But, true to himself, Subaru is more than willing to stake his life to reclaim what was taken from him.

Want a break from the action? Then consider Always A Catch! Written by Mayo Momoyo and illustrated by Itsuki Mito. A light hearted RomCom about their heiress to a martial arts household, recognized by her family as the most talented among her sisters.

However, this title and promise was stripped from her when her brother was born. Instead, she has been ordered by her father to instead search for a suitable husband as she travels to a neighboring kingdom as an exchange student.

However, at the graduation party, she is suddenly confronted by a Prince she has never met announcing the annulment of their engagement that she’s never heard of before!

But what else is there? Want to take a shot with a manga yet to be brought to our screens? An anime that may just pique the interest of those searching for an emotional story would be Snowball Earth!

A Sci-Fi anime based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Yuhiro Tsujitsugu. The story follows young Tetsuo who once fought alongside his giant robot Yukio to defend the Earth from an extraterrestrial threat.

A decade later they finally return to Earth with the dream of making a friend, only to find the Earth frozen over. The survivors are threatened by powerful monstrous foes. Exploring themes like isolation, connection, and hope, Snowball Earth promises to move viewers' hearts.
