Philippine Sonic Fans Launches 35th Anniversary Fan Meet

Sonic fans in the country are in for a treat as community organizer Sonic Philippines announced that it would host a fan gathering this July 25 in Manila. 

The fan event which is not affiliated with Japanese publisher Sega aims to gather fans of the popular Japanese video game to celebrate the franchise’s 35th year anniversary last June. 

Sonic Philippines which would hold its community Cup Sleeve Event named Azure Wind would be hosted at the Springboard Cafe in the city of Manila. The theme would revolve around the characters such as Sonic, Vector, Shadow, and other characters in the game staying in the Philippines with each character embracing local traditions and arts.

Artists edlucavalden, kumo_zd ,RoisuHanah, Fravoccado, and other artists are set to take the lead in creating unique merchandise that adopts the game’s characters in the Philippine environment.

Azure Wind is open to fans aged 16 above with ticket packages ranging from 449 Philippine Pesos for a basic merchandise set to 799 inclusive of all exclusive fan merchandise in the event.
