With the Ber Months here and the fall season of Japan fast approaching, a new wave of anime is on its way to fill our screens with excitement, romance, and around five barrels full of laughs if not more. Worried about missing out? Not to worry because the wonderful crew at Muse Asia has their list of simulcasts all lined up! One thing anime fans will be looking forward to however will be the return of three fan favorites in particular, starting with the third season of One Punch Man coming this October 12.
Season three of the J.C. Staff produced anime continue the Monster Association Arc of the Manga which has the S-Class heroes gathering to save the child of a Hero Association Executive from the hideout of the Monster Association. However, unknown to them, the “human monster” Garou also happens to have been captured and awakened within the Monster Association’s hideout. With the Heroes and the Human Monster’s inevitable clash coming closer, the anime promises a gradually ramping tension that many long-time manga readers will be glad to see on the moving screen.

Another returning fan favorite is the ever loveable and enjoyable SPYxFAMILY. With the release of the trailer we are once again treated to glimpses into the lives of all four members of the Forger Family. Anya’s time in school and her adventures with the dog Bond. Yor facing off rival or enemy assassins, showing off why exactly she’s called the Thorn Princess and, most exciting of all, the past and childhood of the ever enigmatic Twilight will finally be witnessed in anime form. From the trailer alone it is clear, the third season of this much beloved anime promises a mix of humor, high-stakes, and suspense.

On a more humorously serious tone comes Campfire Cooking In Another World with My Absurd Skill begins with the greatest dilemma of all… how does one prepare a Dragon for cooking? A season that promises to build on the lore and world the anime takes place in, fans can expect greater things with the addition of Kenji Takahashi as Assistant Director of the season. Some of his notable production roles include Assistant Director of SPYxFAMILY and Episode Director for animes with stunning visuals such as Yuri on Ice and Attack on Titan!
Those would be the big three of this Fall Season. Consistent fan favorites anticipated for months or even years for their story, visuals, and characters. But what about the other titles on the way? Well with eight new seasons and anime coming in all in all, surely there’s something that stands out other than the fan favorites, and there are two in particular that you may find interesting!

May I Ask for One Final Thing? An ongoing Light Novel and Manga series written by Nana Ōtori, the story offers a unique twist on the Cancelled Engagement plot for the Villainess Genre. Upon learning of her engagement failing and false accusation from her husband-to-be of being a bully and villain, the heroine Scarlet El Vandimion makes one final request: Can she beat the new fiancée up? What follows is a satisfying quest for revenge against her ex-lover and the corrupt nobles that surround him and seek to swarm around her. With Kazuya Sakamoto, director of gems like The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya and my personal favorite of all time: Hyouka, the anime promises to be a visual treat with a story many can empathize with.
Audiences from Southeast Asia can watch these upcoming sequels and animes and other titles such as A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai, My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s, and Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, but Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out for Revenge on My Former Party Members and the World on MUSE Asia's YouTuber Channel.
