Otaku Pop Fes is set to bring various anime and gaming properties to the Philippines at its upcoming event this weekend. Anime booths for "Spy x Family," "Tokyo Revengers," "Naruto" and "Sakamoto Days," alongside gaming booths for "Umamusume: Pretty Derby" and "Showorld World Beyond," will feature special activities during the two-day event.
Photo booths will also be available, featuring background themes from "Assassination Classroom," "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" and "Attack on Titan." Fans can purchase official merchandise from the event's 15 IPs at a dedicated booth, and attendees can also acquire exclusive freebies from the various anime and game zones.
Unlike your Regular Convetion
Conventions in the Philippines typically follow a standard program focused on games, auctions and events happening on a single main stage. However, Otaku Pop Fes aims to give audiences a more immersive experience; each anime and game booth will act as a "mini-stage" conducting its own activities. Meanwhile, the organizer will host two separate main stages.
The inaugural launch of Otaku Pop Fes is going big, positioning the convention in one of the country's largest hotels. The two-day event will be hosted at Okada Manila's Ballroom and Cove April 25-26.
