A Virtual Fun Run For A Cause

Whether you have a treadmill, commuting to work, or simply have time to stroll to the park. PHTubers Bayanihan is hosting a virtual fun run event for a cause this April 13-27.

Takbuhan ng Bayanihan is a virtual fun run supported by indie Philippine Vtubers and artists, Moizaiku Prints, Wisper Yuraita, Asha. EXE, Makeeya, Kiwi_Iwi, among other. PHTubers Bayanihan  Founder, Tinenin stated that the event aims to provide charitable support to non-profit House of Somang. The non-profit based in Paranaque City in the Philippines hosts nursing and elderly care in the city.

​To accommodate a wide range of fitness levels, the virtual race consists of varying distance pledges from 3k to 10k. Because the event is fully remote, distances would be measured through the participants' preferred gadgets, such as a Pedometer, Smartwatches, or GPS tracking applications.

​Once the running period begins, participants would then submit their results on the organizers' official submission page between April 13 to 27 before receiving their exclusive running kit.

For individuals who have special mobility conditions, the Organizer has announced that a direct donation is made available for those that only want to opt to donate. An alternative walk is also available with the requirement of only taking 10,000 Steps.

PH Tuber Bayanihan which launched in 2022 as a hub for local independent VTubers to form a united community, has been providing support services and events to support the local Vtubing scene and as a way for VTubers to expand their initiative outside their audiences.

The advocacy group  has previously hosted two previous events in 2025 which provided support to the protection of endemic animals in the country in collaboration  with Haribon Philippines on September, and an online Caroling show on December to support Angat Buhay’s initiatives in disaster recovery in the Philippines
